What We Do
Where Purpose Meets Action
We bridge the gap between passionate donors and children who need safe homes — with complete transparency, rigorous governance, and a family's love at the heart of everything.
🏠
Safe Homes
We identify, fund and strengthen residential care environments for orphaned and abandoned children — places where they are not just sheltered, but truly nurtured.
📚
Education & Life Skills
Academic support, skills development and mentorship programmes that equip children to transition into adulthood with confidence, dignity and purpose.
🤝
Donor Confidence
We are built by business leaders who understand accountability. Every rand donated is tracked, reported and applied exactly where it is promised — with full visibility.
The Bridge
From Willing Donors to Verified Impact
We saw a critical gap in South Africa's philanthropic landscape: donors who want to give, but lack assurance that their generosity will be managed with commercial rigour and complete transparency. As experienced business leaders and a qualified Chartered Accountant, we created The Bebb Foundation as that bridge — connecting donor intent with measurable, accountable impact.
From fund governance and financial reporting to project selection and continued momentum, we provide donors with the visibility and peace of mind that their contribution is working exactly as intended.
See the Children We Serve
Every face tells a story. Every story deserves a better ending.
Ready to Make a Difference?
Your donation is fully tax-deductible under Section 18A. Every rand goes to a child who needs it most.
Our Purpose
Why We Started The Bebb Foundation
A conversation between a husband and wife became a calling. A calling became a foundation. A foundation is becoming a legacy.
The Beginning
A Family's Vision for South Africa's Children
The Bebb Foundation began as a conversation between Carika and Wayne Bebb — two people who, despite full and demanding lives, could not look away from the quiet crisis unfolding around them. Millions of South African children growing up without the safety, stability and love that every child deserves.
When Carika was crowned Mrs South Africa 2026, it gave that private conviction a national stage. Her platform became a promise: to channel her voice, her visibility, and her passion into lasting change for the country's most vulnerable children.
Together with Wayne — a Chartered Accountant and C-suite business leader — they combined heart with rigour. Compassion with accountability. A family's love with the commercial discipline to make it last.
"We are determined to create a Foundation which will be a legacy — maintained always by our family."
— Carika & Wayne Bebb, Founders

Critical
Gap in safe residential care, mentorship and accountable funding structures
Contributing factors include poverty, unemployment, family breakdown, substance abuse, violence, and the lasting effects of the HIV/AIDS epidemic. These conditions place children at heightened risk of educational failure, exploitation, neglect, and abuse. The Bebb Foundation is established to bridge the critical gap in safe residential care — and to do so with the governance and accountability that donors rightly expect.
The Faces of Hope
Children Who Deserve Better
"There can be no keener revelation of a society's soul than the way in which it treats its children."
— Nelson Mandela
Madiba's words remind us that how we care for our most vulnerable children defines who we are as a nation. The Bebb Foundation exists to help South Africa live up to that truth — one child, one safe home, one changed life at a time.
Be Part of the Legacy
This is not just a foundation. It is a family's promise to South Africa's children — and an invitation for you to join us.
The People Behind the Purpose
Who We Are
A passionate family, experienced professionals, and a shared conviction that children deserve better.
The Heart of the Foundation
The Bebb Family
Family is Everything
Carika, Wayne, Ethan, Josh — and their three beloved huskies — are the Bebb family. A family that laughs loudly, loves deeply, and believes with their whole hearts that every child deserves exactly what they have: a safe place, a warm home, and adults who show up.
The Bebb family understands, firsthand, the power of a stable home environment in shaping who a child becomes. They know what it means to have roots — and they are determined to give South Africa's most vulnerable children those same roots.
The Bebb Foundation is not a corporate exercise. It is a family legacy — one they intend to maintain and grow across generations, ensuring that their commitment to South Africa's children never fades.
"We realise the importance of family in raising young children. We want to make sure every child has that environment to thrive."

Meet the Team
Carika Bebb
Co-Founder & Visionary | Mrs South Africa 2026
Carika Bebb is the heart and public face of The Bebb Foundation. As the reigning Mrs South Africa 2026, she has chosen South Africa's orphaned and vulnerable children as her platform — transforming a deeply personal conviction into a national conversation.
A passionate advocate for child welfare, Carika brings warmth, authenticity, and an extraordinary ability to connect people to causes that matter. She is the living embodiment of the Foundation's belief that love, purpose, and platform can change lives. Her journey from idea to crowned title queen to foundation founder is proof of what is possible when one person refuses to look away.
Wayne Bebb is a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) and seasoned C-suite executive with a career built on building, scaling and leading businesses across multiple industries in South Africa and internationally.
At NOOA Holdings BV and across his executive portfolio, Wayne has demonstrated the commercial acumen, financial discipline and governance rigour that sets The Bebb Foundation apart from traditional charities. He brings the same standards he applies in the boardroom to the stewardship of donor funds — ensuring every contribution is managed with precision, transparency and integrity.
Wayne's role in the Foundation is to ensure that passion is matched by professionalism — that donors can give with complete confidence and that every rand reaches the children it is meant to serve.

Our Approach
How We Create Lasting Change
Strategic. Accountable. Compassionate. We operate with the discipline of business and the heart of a family.
Our Strategic Focus
Building South Africa's First Bebb Foundation Safety Home
Our immediate and strategic goal is to fund and support the development of our first Safety Home — in partnership with the Zaza Mahlangu Foundation. This partnership brings together two complementary missions: one focused on vision and funding, one with operational experience on the ground.
Together, we are creating a residential environment where orphaned and vulnerable children will find not just a roof and a meal, but genuine safety, mentorship, education support, and the kind of consistent adult care that shapes who a child becomes.
🤝 In Partnership with the Zaza Mahlangu Foundation
The long-term vision is for The Bebb Foundation to establish and operate its own purpose-built children's home — a place that embodies every principle the Foundation stands for: safety, love, education, mentorship, and the unwavering belief that every child deserves to thrive.
Our Model
Four Pillars of Impact
01
Donor Funding & Resource Mobilisation
We raise funding from individuals, businesses, trusts and institutions — applying 100% of donations directly and measurably to approved programmes. Every rand is accounted for.
02
Safe Homes & Residential Care
We identify, assess and partner with children's home environments that demonstrate commitment to child welfare and are capable of being strengthened through our support.
03
Education & Life Skills
Academic support, skills development programmes and life-skills training aimed at preparing children for independence, responsibility and meaningful employment.
04
Mentorship & Parental Support
We facilitate mentorship, coaching and consistent adult involvement — providing the positive role models and emotional support that every child needs, especially in the absence of parents.
Accountability
Governance You Can Trust
The Bebb Foundation is not just built on passion — it is built on the commercial rigour and governance principles that donors rightly demand.
📊
Financial Reporting
We maintain proper financial records and provide donors with full visibility into how every donation is applied — with transparent, regular reporting on fund utilisation and project outcomes.
⚖️
Independent Governance
Our Board of Directors includes fiduciary members with no conflicts of interest, and no single individual controls the Foundation's decision-making — ensuring ethical, balanced oversight at all times.
🎯
Measurable Impact
We apply funds only to approved projects with clear, measurable outcomes. Our CA(SA)-qualified leadership ensures the same precision in charitable stewardship as in corporate governance.

An Appeal from Our Hearts
South Africa's Children Are Waiting
There are millions of children in South Africa who go to sleep tonight without the safety, stability, and love that you and I take for granted. They are not statistics. They are children — curious, resilient, full of potential — who simply need someone to invest in their future.
We have created The Bebb Foundation to be the organisation you can trust with that investment. We are not career philanthropists — we are a family who cares deeply, a Chartered Accountant who insists on accountability, and a team of professionals who refuse to let donor intent go to waste.
Your donation is not a charity. It is a strategic investment in South Africa's most valuable asset — its children.
